marker on transparencies (set of 365, grouped in blocks of 7.15 x 11 cm each)

Routine: Using the situationist concept of psychogeography, I registered a Mental Map daily, in transparencies using a black marker. I overlapped them in blocks of 7 to obtain the resulting “routine map”.

book

My maps have always been registered with a black pen, since they register the past. In this project, using the Situationist Psychogeography concept, I introduced the color red for routes that were not part of my usual movements. This book was the study of the Large Canvas 4 (1991).

ballpoint pen and sewed cut out fabric on strip of cloth (set of 318, approx. 61 x 14 cm each)

Routine: I drew a map on a fabric strip in 2 colors: black for everyday routes and red for new routes. Then, I stitched a piece of fabric that I cut from my clothes, towels, table cloth, labels or linen to the work, which I collected from my immediate surroundings. Lastly, I counted seconds for one hour, in my own time.
