Statement

“I call my living art. Since 1988, I have been recording mental maps of my daily walks as evidence of me being alive. Evidence-gathering routines are inseparable from my life and I will continue to do so indefinitely.

I understand art as a succession of mental and emotional experiences that originate in the relationships that I establish in my daily life. Everything that constitutes my existence is my raw material and the world is my exhibition space.

This art-life framework led to conceptual questions on how art must be treated, reflecting on the locus of art and how an art space can be transformed into an art place.”
